The Wirral Coastal Walk

The Wirral Coastal Walk, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Wirral, will return for its 41st year in 2027. This much-anticipated event has become a valued partner for your charity, offering you the opportunity to both enjoy the scenic coastline and raise money for your charity. As always, the Rotary Clubs are proud to facilitate this long-standing walk, which brings people together in celebration and fundraising.

This a fun way to fundraise together, whatever your age or ability. You can take part as an individual, as a family or as part of a team, and there are no age restrictions.

So, dust off those walking shoes and invite, enrol, persuade and cajole family and friends into joining you for a great day out whilst raising money for your favourite charity or good cause.

Wirral Mencap is a completely independent local charity that has been supporting adults with learning disabilities on the Wirral for more than 60 years. Although we share the Mencap name, all of our income is raised here on the Wirral and every penny is spent supporting people in our local community. Our services include courses such as English and Maths Skills, weekly social clubs, the Gateway Award programme (similar to Duke of Edinburgh), and an Information, Advice and Advocacy Service.
We are looking for people to sign up to raise a target of £30 sponsorship for Wirral Mencap. Everyone who signs up will get a free Wirral Mencap t-shirt.
Once you have signed up, please contact Becca on rchapman@mencapwirral.org.uk to tell us your t-shirt size.
