The Wirral Coastal Walk

The Wirral Coastal Walk, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Wirral, will return for its 41st year in 2027. This much-anticipated event has become a valued partner for your charity, offering you the opportunity to both enjoy the scenic coastline and raise money for your charity. As always, the Rotary Clubs are proud to facilitate this long-standing walk, which brings people together in celebration and fundraising.

This a fun way to fundraise together, whatever your age or ability. You can take part as an individual, as a family or as part of a team, and there are no age restrictions.

So, dust off those walking shoes and invite, enrol, persuade and cajole family and friends into joining you for a great day out whilst raising money for your favourite charity or good cause.

Event details

Date: Sunday 27th June 2027

Time: 8:30am to 10:30am at the Floral Pavilion

Start: Floral Pavilion, New Brighton

Finish: Wirral Country Park – Thurstaston Visitor Centre (latest finish 5pm)

Distance: Full distance 20 Kilometres with intermediate finishes at 6K (Leasowe Common) and 12K (Kings Gap)

The MS Society Wirral supports and provides vital advice & wellbeing services to people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Our offering includes exercise classes both in class and online as well as social gatherings to bring people into our friendly community.
MS can be a very isolating condition and we want no-one affected by it to feel alone.
We also offer an excellent podiatry service.

Supporting the MS Society Wirral in the Wirral Coastal Walk, you will be helping to improve the lives of people affected by MS.

On the day, we will be there to meet and greet you at the Floral Pavilion before you begin your walk. There you can pick up a FREE MS Society t-shirt and a bottle of water.

You will then find us at the end of the 20km walk at Thurstaston Country Park to congratulate you with some well deserved goodies and sweet treats !
