The Wirral Coastal Walk

The Wirral Coastal Walk, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Wirral, will return for its 41st year in 2027. This much-anticipated event has become a valued partner for your charity, offering you the opportunity to both enjoy the scenic coastline and raise money for your charity. As always, the Rotary Clubs are proud to facilitate this long-standing walk, which brings people together in celebration and fundraising.

This a fun way to fundraise together, whatever your age or ability. You can take part as an individual, as a family or as part of a team, and there are no age restrictions.

So, dust off those walking shoes and invite, enrol, persuade and cajole family and friends into joining you for a great day out whilst raising money for your favourite charity or good cause.

Event details

Date: Sunday 27th June 2027

Time: 8:30am to 10:30am at the Floral Pavilion

Start: Floral Pavilion, New Brighton

Finish: Wirral Country Park – Thurstaston Visitor Centre (latest finish 5pm)

Distance: Full distance 20 Kilometres with intermediate finishes at 6K (Leasowe Common) and 12K (Kings Gap)

Over the last 40 years, Meningitis Now has been the leader in raising awareness and fighting meningitis in the UK. With your support, we fund vital research into the prevention and treatment of meningitis, while also providing vital aftercare and support for those whose lives have been affected by the disease.
